Katavi National Park
Katavi National Park is the third largest National park of Tanzania covering and area of 4500 Square Kilometers and situated in the Southwestern part of Tanzania. Due to its remoteness its beauty and wilderness is not much known.
The uniqueness of this park is its remoteness. The Park is not easily accessible to tourists. Tourists need to take 4–5-hour flight from Darussalam to reach here. That means movement of tourists to the park is very less. Most of the locals of the area visit the park. This is also considered as best dry season park of Tanzania. The Park is home to many animals, but buffalos are the key and predators such as lions attacking buffalos is usual. The Park mostly consists of grassy terrain.
